tak tidur tidur lagi.... sebab dok usha silibus foundation accounting UNITEN untuk student kesayangan.....

Alhamdulillah berjaya dapat info yang agak complete dan paling best aku dapat khatam BADLEH dari Cikgu Sila(dot) com....bukan apa,nak khatam bagai ni... aku nak tgok semula,susah sangat ke silibus prinsip akaun yang budak2 sek menengah belajar kat sekolah sekarang ni,sampai ramai budak susah nak score A+ subjek ni... So,based on full swing tgh malam buto ni,kira aku rasa x la susah sangat..cuma mybe kena ajak student ni imaginasi terus ttg keseluruhan perjalanan financial department then baru zoom 1 by 1 ikut silibus...atau maybe ramai yang cikgu yang mengajar ni pun, asalnya abis belajar terus jadi cikgu,so diorang pun x nampak cara shortcut nak bg budak2 ni paham dalam kelas.. yelah,macam lecturer investment,ada setengah2 tu,pandai kat dalam dewan kuliah ja... ntah2 x pernah trade pun kat BURSA...paling sedih kalau CDS akaun pun lecturer investment tu xdo(x semua la.mybe ada yg ado)... so,jiwa akan kurang la nak mengajar,sebab x go in deep dalam bidang yang di ajar...

Trimester 1
AITF 014 BASIC COMPUTING
The aim of this course is to expose students to computer systems and its applications in a business organisation. Students will also be trained to use the computerised accounting applications in a business environment. The application of computerised accounting emphasises the use of application software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.

AFAF 014 INTRODUCTORY FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING I
This is the first in the series of introductory financial accounting course. It introduces the nature of accounting, its basic principles, as well as the procedures involved in recording business transactions for sole proprietorship. Students will be taught the concept of book keeping for a complete accounting cycle and preparation of financial statements.
QNTF 014 QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS
This course enables students to apply basic statistical concepts in other business classes as well as in the workplace. The course emphasises on problem solving techniques as they apply to economic analyses and business decision-making. The topics covered include the fundamental knowledge of basic descriptive statistics and probability.
ECMF 013 PRINCIPLES OF MICROECONOMICS
The course deals with the basic principles of microeconomics like opportunity cost and marginal analysis that are used in the decision-making process. The course then takes students into areas like demand and supply, consumer behaviour, cost structures, market structures and the factor input markets. Using these fundamental principles, students are exposed to the concepts of market failures including public goods, externalities and government controls.

ENLF 013 FOUNDATION ENGLISH I
This course gives some exposure for students to improve their vocabulary and reading skills through skimming, scanning, inferencing and reading contextual clues. Students are exposed to rhetoric and academic writing to enhance their writing skills. Besides that, this course is being introduced to improve students reading skills through various writing and oral activities. The four language skills listening, speaking, reading and writing, and the two sub-skills grammar and vocabulary are emphasised to hone students proficiency in the English language.

 ACSF 012 ACADEMIC STUDY SKILLS
This course exposes students to various skills that are needed to be competent and efficient university students. Throughout this course, students learn on how to do study planning, use the dictionary efficiently, read text books and journals, take short notes during lectures and tutorials, make notes and paraphrase texts while reading books and journals and do references in the library. Besides, students are taught essay and basic guidelines to research writing. This course too provides students with skills to prepare themselves for the exam and the exposure to case studies to familiarise them with academic work

Trimester 2

AFAF 024 INTRODUCTORY FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING II Pre requisite: AFAF 014
This is the second part of the introductory financial accounting course. It provides greater understanding on the various components of financial statements such as accounting for receivables, inventory, depreciation and incomplete records. It also includes other forms of business such as clubs, societies and companies.
ACOF 014 INTRODUCTIONS TO COSTING
This course provides coverage of the principles, techniques and methods involved in costing. The course aims to provide students with the basics of cost and management accounting. It also aims to develop students knowledge and understanding of the function of cost and management accounting techniques in order to support planning, control and decision-making in organisations.

QNTF 024 BUSINESS MATHEMATICS Pre requisite: QNTF 014
Business Mathematics is employed increasingly for decision-making in our daily life. For analytical and reasoning skills, a solid foundation in fundamental mathematics is required. The purpose of this course, therefore, is to present mathematical skills and concepts to be applied in areas like business and economics. Topics include fundamental knowledge of algebra, calculus and linear combinations.

ECMF 023 PRINCIPLES OF MACROECONOMICS Pre requisite: ECMF 013
This course presents a basic introduction to how macroeconomics systems function. To explain the basic theoretical framework of macroeconomics, simple diagrams are used. Some simple mathematical models are also introduced. The topics covered include national income accounting, consumption and investment, theory of income determination, the demand for and supply of money, banking, monetary and fiscal policy, international trade, balance of payment, exchange rate and economic growth.

ENLF 023 FOUNDATION ENGLISH II Pre requisite: ENLF 013
Through this course students are exposed to academic writing and reading skills. Students are encouraged to understand their areas of difficulty through contextual reading and writing. Non-contextual drills are also recommended for the areas of difficulty to further help students improve their language. Students are also exposed to some basic expository writing practice. The reading and writing components will train students to apply critical thinking. Generally, this course helps students build up their basic skills in academic reading and writing before they embark on to their various fields of major.
MTAF 011 KOR UNITEN
A modest military-type field course that exposes students to core leadership training, physical and mental resilience, and emotional strength and stability while in pursuit of their tertiary education. Students are required to undergo a dynamic field programme in self-motivated groups to enable them to be physically, mentally and emotionally prepared as students of higher learning. As business and accounting students, they have the latent prospects of becoming future business leaders and managers and this course helps them to have a vigorous exposure to field training to attain astuteness and leadership qualities required of them.

Special Semester

FICF 014 PRINCIPLES OF FINANCE
This is an introductory course in finance. The course begins with the basic concepts in finance, materials relating to instruments, markets and institutions in a business environment. Exposure to time value of money concept and security valuation is the focus of the course. Students are taught to analyse company financial positions based on its financial statements. Apart from that, students are also exposed to the time value of money concept and this helps them to determine the intrinsic values of securities such as stocks and bonds. Students are also exposed to industry-based work with the assistance of Microsoft Excel spreadsheet for financial planning.

MGMF 033 INTRODUCTION TO BUSINESS MANAGEMENT Introduction
to business is designed as an introductory course to provide students with a comprehensive overview of current business principles and practices. It is knowledge based and enables students to better understand, work with and manage business and organisations in business settings. The course also exposes students to the many facets of business and management. Students are taught new business trends and how they are reshaping todays business and altering the future competitive environment. Topics that are to be covered include all aspects of business, entrepreneurship, marketing and management, technology and business planning.
CRTF 013 CRITICAL THINKING AND LOGIC SKILLS
This basic course on cognitive skills is to prepare students for tertiary education where basic creative thinking and logic skills are crucial when they are exposed to academic matters. Students are taught how to distinguish credible sources from non-credible sources, the logical analysis of arguments and claims, identification of fallacious reasoning and the analysis of language and rhetoric in classroom discourse. Students are also taught on practical, critical and logical reasoning for intellectual discourse in order to help them to learn, practise and appreciate intellectual virtues.

ISLF 011 ISLAM AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT
This introductory Islamic course exposes students to the fundamental principles of Islam in human development. It comprises the importance of aqidah, syariah and ibadah in the pursuit of knowledge. Students are steered to appreciate the core didactic values in Islam and the doctrine of adab in seeking knowledge. This course accentuates on the relevance of Islamic instructive doctrines vis--vis the development of mankind and its wellbeing in the temporal and spiritual contexts.
MORF 011 MORAL AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

This introductory Moral course exposes students to the fundamental humanistic principles in human development. It comprises the importance of exemplary moral values vis--vis the universal principles of compassion in human development. Students are steered to appreciate the didactic values in some of the world philosophies and religions and relate them to their rationale for seeking knowledge. The course accentuates on the relevance of universal instructive principles in the development of mankind and its wellbeing.
